Leah J.  Daley (Moishee)
Leah Jane Daley, 95, passed away in North Port, Florida, on Monday, September 25, 2017. She was a resident of Elgin, PA moving there in 1952. She was born on May 3, 1922 in Kane, PA to James and Leta Moisher. She was married to Clarence Lee Daley in Union City on January 29, 1943.

Leah was a member of the Elgin Methodist Church in Elgin, PA where she held various offices in the church. She was one of the first members of the Elgin -Beaverdam Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed her membership in the Country Red Hatters who took trips all over the area. She enjoyed reading, traveling all over the USA and Europe, canning, and helping her husband process venison during the hunting season. She loved playing cards with friends and putting puzzles together. She never missed her soaps in the afternoon. She encouraged her children to reach their dreams through education. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. She sold Amway for over 55 years. This helped with the education expenses of her six children.

Before getting married she attended business school in Erie, PA and worked at a car dealership in Union City, PA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in 1998 also her siblings, Laura Peterson, Martha Mae Moisher, Augusta Bea Daley Baker, August Moisher, Sarah Smolleck, and Mary Blystone Burns; and grandchildren, Robert Andritz and Danette Kornikoski Tucker.

She is survived by Hiram Daley (Judith) of Corry, PA; Barbara Kornikoski (John) or Corry, PA, Leah Andritz (Steve) of Titusville, FL, Kathy Ersbek (Ken) of Hawley, PA, Timothy Daley (Colleen) of North Olmstead, OH and Rebecca J. Cline (David R. Lesher Sr.) of North Port, FL; and many grandchildren; and great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 30th from 10:00am till 12:00pm at Elgin Methodist Church, 18240 N. Main Street, Elgin, PA. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm.

Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City, PA.
