We are so sorry for the loss of your dear Dad. He was a good man. My Dad, Junior, was a good hunting buddy of his. They had a lot of good times hunting up in Maine. It didn't matter if they got a bear or not, they always had fun.
One unforgettable memory I have of your Dad is from a few years ago. Him and my Dad were on their way to Maine for bear hunting. My Dad wasn't feeling well. Thanks to your Dad's persistence he was able to convince my Dad to go to the hospital to get checked out. Your Dad traveled a very long way to get my Dad to a VA facility for treatment. If not for his persistence, my Dad would most likely not be here today. I will be forever grateful...He was a good friend, and I know that Dad will miss him very much.
I pray that God will be with all of you in the days ahead and give you peace. May happy memories comfort you.
