Obituary for Albert M. Schreck

Albert M, Schreck, 90 of Uniontown, formerly of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020. He was born on April 23, 1930, in Meadville, son of the late James and Lima Sherrod Schreck. He married the love on his life, Joan Riddle on March 3, 1952. She preceded him in death.

Albert was a member of the Meadville Eagles and Elks, he loved golfing, gardening and watching hockey. He proudly served in the Korean War for the United States Army as a paratrooper. Albert retired from Conrail Railroad.

Albert is survived by his three daughters, Carrie Kurt of Uniontown, PA; Cathy Bly and her husband George of Meadville and Caren Flowers of Uniontown, PA; grandchildren Christopher Kurt (Tara) Karen Ann Sackett (Michael); Amy Bly; George Bly, IV; Scot Bly (Lindsey); Crista Kinter (Eric) and Carrie Sue Hartley; nine great grandchildren and one on the way; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Albert is preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan; three sisters and two brothers.

The Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335, has been entrusted with the care of arrangements.

Services will be private. Burial will take place at Greendale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
