Obituary for Carolyn I Ezor (Bradley)

Carolyn Bradley Ezor, 77, formerly of Leslie Road, Meadville, was carried to Heaven on Angels' wing on Holy Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community.

Carolyn was born in Meadville on May 16, 1941, a daughter of the late Gaylord and Helen Hock Bradley. She attended school at Saint Brigid Elementary and Meadville High School. She began her working career at Meadville Laundry, Channellock, and Quality Markets where she worked in various departments. Prior to her retirement she was employed part-time at Cargo Cleaners.

Carolyn married Frederick "Fred" Ezor on January 25, 1980. Together they shared a great love for golf, making many pilgrimages to Myrtle Beach to enjoy the game. They even went so far as to have a putting green built in their back yard that they both used for "practice" and lovingly attended. They were fond of Country Western Music, and attended numerous concerts over the years. They shared many of life's great adventures over their 24 years of marriage until Fred or as Carolyn called him "Shorty" died on August 31, 2004.

She was a member of Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. She loved gardening and working in her flowers beds. She was an excellent cook and baker, especially well known for her wonderful pies. She also enjoyed needlework and taking long walks with her beloved dogs.

Carolyn is survived by three brothers, Richard (Sheila) Bradley of Meadville, Gary (Margaret) Bradley of Linesville, and Ronald (Barbara) Bradley of Cambridge Springs; a brother in law, Stan Shesky; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents; she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Bradley Moses (04-05-2013) and Donna Bradley Shesky (11-22-2018); and a brother, Michael Bradley (10-25-2018).

Family and friends are welcome to call on Monday, April 22nd from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will follow at 4:00pm with Father Andrew Boyd, officiating.

Private burial will take place at Saint Brigid Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their profound gratitude to the entire staff of Wesbury and especially to Memory Support and College Way for all the loving care and compassion they provided to Carolyn these past years. They are truly "God's Angel's" on earth.
