Chester was one of the finest men I had the pleasure of knowing and working with at Oakland.. He was a friend to all of his co=-workers.After unlocking the building he went straight to the teacher's lounge and would get the coffee on so it would be ready for the staff upon arrival. Chester never said no to any of us that had a special request. He truly was a kind,, caring, friend to all that had the pleasure of enjoying his friendship. He loved his wife, Gerri and daughters Angie and Aimiee. Hie is now with his precious Amy.So glad his dream came true by spending the last few years living near his favorite playground, Pymatumming and enjoying his hunting and fishing. Chester mad the world a better place.Rest in peace dear friend. Gerri, and Angie ,prayers are with you during this difficult time. You have Charlie and my sympathy.

Dear Jerry and Family,
My heart goes out to all of you with prayers for peace and comfort in the days ahead.
Chester was truly a wonderful and caring friend. He would do anything for anyone and never said an unkind word about anyone.
I have so many, many fond memories of working with Chester. Who could not love a person who would climb into a dumpster for you? That's exactly what he did to retrieve my antique butter dish that he had pitched with all the other stuff left in the lunchroom refrigerator on the last day of school.
Not only was Chester fun to be around, but he was really creative too. He could make and fix just about anything. I will always cherish the truly beautiful cover that Chester made for my retirement memory book from Oakland Twp School. In that book, I said that I would miss the kids, the teachers, and Chester. Now, rest in peace my dear friend. You will be missed!!!
