Obituary for Cynthia S. Rhoades
Cynthia S. Rhoades, 58, of Linesville, passed away, Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center as the result of a motorcycle accident. She was born on October 16, 1963 in Meadville, a daughter of Ronald Smock and Corrine Reese McCarthy. She married Lloyd A. Rhoades on June 18, 1983.
She was a 1981 graduate of Linesville High School and was employed with Meadville Medical Center in the Central Processing Department. Cynthia enjoyed her job and her co-workers. The job that meant the most to Cynthia was raising her two children.
Cynthia was of the Catholic faith, she loved riding motorcycles with her husband and making wine.
In addition to her loving husband, Lloyd A. Rhoades of Linesville; she is survived by her mother, Corrine McCarthy of Meadville; a daughter, Katelyn S. Rhoades and her husband Troy of Saegertown; a son, Nathan J. Rhoades and his companion Jessie Thorpe of Meadville; a grandson, Trevor Rhoades; two sisters, Diane Hornstein and her husband Jamie of Conneaut Lake and Kelly Rokosky and her husband Eric of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania; a brother, Ronald McCarthy-Smock of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; in-laws, Ruth Ann and Larry Polly of Meadville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Smock.
Services will be private.
