Dorothy Marie Ferrara, 67, of Union City Pennsylvania, unexpectedly passed away, Sunday, September 18, 2022 at UPMC Hamot. She was born November 13, 1954 in Buffalo, New York a daughter of Edward Charles Wade and Dorothy Marie Loomis who have both proceeded her in death.

Dorothy enjoyed spending her days crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and word searches, and talking on the phone to her many loved ones. She was a religious woman and a faithful member of the Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Dorothy married and is survived by her husband Theodore Ralph Ferrara Sr. They were wed December 10, 1976. Together they raised six children some of which were Dorothy’s step children. Theodore Ralph Ferraro II of St. Marys, Pennsylvania. Tony Joseph Ferraro (Tina) of Erie, Pennsylvania. Theodore Ralph Ferrara III “Butch” (Lacy) of Tower City, Pennsylvania. Anna Ferrara of Erie, Pennsylvania. Myra Spellman of Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania. And Lori Ferrara of Erie, Pennsylvania who proceeded her in death.

Dorothy had and is survived by many grandchildren. Eli Spellman, Lori Kuntz (Ben), Alexandrea Pelka (Christian), Kieyona Ferrara, Kristen Ferrara, Kaitlyn Ferrara, Vinicius Ferrara, Leonidas Ferrara, Archimedes Ferrara, and Valentino Ferrara. She is survived by her sister, Marlene (Ray) Wade of West Springfield, Pennsylvania and two brothers Edward Waite(Susan) of Harborcreek, Pennsylvania and Alan Waite of Conneaut, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Leo Waite, James Waite, Charles Wade, Delores Lucas, and Alice Malone.

A memorial celebration will be held at her Canadohta Lake home on Saturday, September 24th 2022 at 1:00pm
