Obituary for Gary L. Graves
Gary L. Graves, 56, of Townville, passed away, Monday, March 18, 2019. He was born on June 6, 1962 in Meadville a son of Carl R. Graves, Jr. and Sherri J. Teed Graves. He married Lisa A. Wheeling on April 17, 1982.
He was a 1980 graduate of Maplewood High School, was employed with C.R. Graves Logging, and had attended Townville Baptist Church.
Gary enjoyed playing pool, fishing, cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends, family, and grandchildren.
In addition to his loving wife, Lisa; he is survived by his mother, Sherri J. Graves of Townville; two daughters, Lindsay A. Graves of New Cumberland and Ashley L. Turner and her husband Greg of Chambersburg; three sons, Chad R. Burrows and his wife Jennifer of Titusville, Justin C. Graves and his wife Kristi of Cambridge Springs, and Nicholas A. Graves of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Quinn and Annie Burrows, Kristin and Jason Graves, and Addie and Gavin Turner; two sisters, Meme Davis and Karl of Townville and DeeDee Tarr and her husband Blaine of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Carl R. Graves, Jr.; and an uncle, Dick Teed.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Saturday, March 23rd from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 33353 N. Main Street, Townville. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor Glen Van Cise, officiating.
