Obituary for Janet R. Stevenson
Janet R. Stevenson, 84, formerly of Union City, passed away, on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Warren Manor. She was born in Union City on June 2, 1938, a daughter of Marvin P. and Ruth V. Morton Johnson. In 1967, she married Robert H. Stevenson Sr., he preceded her in death.
She enjoyed bingo, cards, dancing, Yahtzee, and wood puzzles. Janet was also a member of the Union City VFW.
Janet is survived by four daughters, Debra D. Seekings and her husband, Howard of Kennedy, New York, Roberta L. Stevenson of Jamestown, New York, Tammy R. Stevenson of Jamestown, New York, and Irene S. Gibbons and her husband, Milton of Ripley, New York; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her companion, Lewis Wickham of Gowanda, New York.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert H. Stevenson Jr.; four brothers, Raymond, Bud, Paul, and Walter Johnson; two sisters, Elsie Brown and Macria Johnson; a niece, Pamela Brown; and a nephew, Paul Brown.
Friends and family are welcome to call on Monday, December 5th from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City. A funeral service will follow calling hours at 6:00 pm with Pastor Richard Hamilton, officiating.
Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Union City
