Obituary for Jeanne Alice Wilson (McClusky)
Jeanne Alice McClusky Wilson, 82, of Meadville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 2, 2020. She was born in New Haven, CT; daughter of the late Frank H. and Janet A. Yeomans McClusky.
Jeanne graduated from Barnstable High School and the Revlon School of Cosmetology in New York City. She loved crafts, games, bingo; Saegertown American Legion; hosting events with family and friends; very involved in local Republican Party at their office in Meadville and Republican Committee for Hayfield Township (elected position); in 2015 she was selected to be Republican Woman of the Year.
Survivors include her two daughters, Deborah Mattern and her husband Donald of Saegertown; Donna Collins of Saegertown; her son Donald Frazel, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Beverly Hills, FL; six grandchildren; Robert (Chris) Mattern; Kristina (Jeremy) Gilchrist; Elizabeth (Rich) Mascitti; Charles Mook; Jessie Frazel and Cora Frazel; her sister Judith Mikols of MA and sister-in-law Barbara Wilson of Meadville; two brothers; Robert McClusky (Candice White) of MA; and David McClusky of MA; also 7 great grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren also several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband John Wilson, her infant son Daniel; son-in-law Henry Collins; brothers-in-law Emil Mikols; George Wilson; William Wilson; sisters-in-law Catherine Schutz and Alice Brawley.
Per Jeanne's wishes, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life NWPA, 1034 Grove St. Meadville PA 16335 or to the Saegertown American Legion Post 205, 755 South St, Saegertown, PA 16433.
