Obituary

Obituary for Jerry Robert Crow

Jerry "Big Poppa" Crow, 65, of Linesville, passed away, July 29th, 2020 at his home. He was born on February 23, 1955, in Charleroi, PA. He was the son of the late James and Dorothy (Rosendale) Crow.
He was a graduate of California High School; Jerry was self employed as a Tire Repair Specialist prior to working as an Independent Contractor at MIB of Harrisburg. He was an active member of the Pymatuning Sportsman Club & numerous local fire stations.

Jerry was known as "The King of Linesville", a friendly neighbor that was loved by all. He enjoyed family gatherings, especially "feeds", traveling to the beach, dancing to the oldies, a life long passion of hunting, fishing, traveling & camping; instilling life skills to his children & grandchildren, advising them to "do the right thing". Jerry never had a bad meal, he enjoyed venison, fish sandwiches with extra onion, braunschweiger, seafood & chinese buffets, varieties of hot sauce, a good roasting ear, duck eggs & veggies from Bubba's garden. He expressed excitement with "Farts Fire", a compliment as "you're prettier than a plate of fried catfish", close to arrival as "prent near home James" & his best advice "don't take any wooden nickels".

Survivors include his children Rhonda Nowakowski and her husband Brian of Irwin, Reonna Cuevas and her partner Charlie Skinner of Perryopolis, Tonya Cuevas and her partner Mike Davic of Finleyville, Savanna "Critter" Cuevas and her partner John Paul of Monessen, son in law Erik Blair of Manor, his bonus daughter Cindy "Wing Ding" Pivarnik of Cleveland, OH; his sister Jenean (Crow) Olmstead and her husband Les of Mountain Home, ID; his brother George Crow and his wife Missy of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Julie Marie Blair (Jason Slaney), Christopher James Blair, Autumn Lynn Nowakowski, Rena Ann Cuevas and Freya Rose Skinner; Grand puppies Chewie Lewie & Fluffer Nutter Butter; his life long friend Randy Patterson, a special cousin Bonnie (Crow) McGary and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, a great nephew, extended family, too many friends and neighbors to name them all.

Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle L Blair, grandson, Ollie Marshall Skinner; niece Heather Altman and his fishing buddy Marion Reed.
