Obituary for Jon Robert Tillotson
Jon Robert Tillotson, 75, of Centerville, passed away, April 25, 2019 at his residence after battling an illness. He was born on July 28, 1943 in Corry, Pennsylvania a son of Howard Jasper Tillotson and Waunetta Wavie Bloomfield Tillotson.
Jon was a heavy equipment operator and had been employed with Tri-State Hardwoods and General Electric in Erie.
He was a member of the Heavy Equipment Operators Union and ABATE in New York state.
Jon enjoyed coon hunting with his dogs, fishing, spending time outdoors, but most of all he enjoyed time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by a daughter, Amy L. Beck and her husband Douglas of Centerville; grandchildren, Branden Beck and his wife Randi of Conneaut Lake, Shannon Beck, Bradley Beck, and Dillion Beck all of Centerville; great grandchildren, Luka, Stella, Forrest, and Bayden Beck; two sisters, Janet Capela and her husband Tom of Spartansburg and Judy Ambrose and her husband Ralph of Corry; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jon A. Tillotson; his parents; and grandparents.
A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later day.
