Obituary for Margaret A. Williams (Beers)
Margaret A. Williams, 85, of Meadville, passed away, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Rolling Fields Elder Care Community. She was born on October 22, 1934 in Clarion, Pa; daughter of the late Eugene F. and Margaret Bright Beers. She married Neal Williams on July 12, 1957, he preceded her in passing on June 25, 2015.
Margaret worked at Crawford Central School District as a teacher for 26 years. She enjoyed sewing and being a part of the sew and sew club; she was the reading Grandma at West End Elementary School; taught Tai Chi with Cootie Harris; and playing Wii Bowling and Beach Volleyball at Rolling Fields Elder Care Community.
Survivors include three daughters, Patty Splitstone and her husband Dana of Meadville; Pam McCaffrey of Meadville; and Carol Kerins and her husband Bruce of Meadville; thirteen grandchildren, James Roberts; Kim Cole; Chris Roberts; Jacob Splitstone; Danielle Splitstone; John McCaffrey; Kelle McCaffrey, Debra McDermott; Hillary Raines; Nick Custard, Ben Custard, Casey Custard and Cody Kerins; 15 great grandchildren and one on the way.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Margaret is preceded in death by her brother Eugene Beers.
Friends and family are invited to call the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335, on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held there on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Brian Custard officiating.
Burial will be at Greendale Cemetery.
