Obituary for Paul Eugene Wright

Paul Eugene Wright, 79, passed away on Tuesday March 16 after a short illness. He was Born in Meadville on July 28, 1941 to Ivan Eugene and E. Marion Orr Wright. Paul could drive a tractor at the age of 5. He loved farming but at age 15 he contracted Polio and was told by doctors that he'd never walk again. His answer was, "My Rear" and he walked until 2018.

He graduated from Randolph-East Mead High School in 1959. He then received some training for the handicapped in Williamsport, PA, and then in Erie, PA at the Erie Commercial School where he studied Accounting. He went to work at Sanida Dairy in Erie. He married Sylvia Waite in 1962. Other places he worked were Metal Coaters in Ohio, Meadow Brook Dairy in Erie, GTI in Hadley and Saegertown, he then started his own Accounting practice for the next 35 years.

Survivors include his beloved wife Sylvia Waite Wright; his son Glenn Wright (Amber), step-daughter Kathy McCray (Ray) grandchildren, Wyatt, Ethan, Sam and Sylvanne Wright; step grandchildren, Christina Park (Don) Kelly Mitch, Markie Young (Kirk) Ailyn Reimers (Brandon) Daniel, Anika and Joe Tyson, Christina Olszewski (Zack)and Andre Quinones. His sister Linda Hasenkopf (Terry), Brother Mark Wright (Karen) also many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his sister, Mona Wright and stepson Mark Sessamen.

Paul was a member of the NRA and the National Accountants Society.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street has been entrusted with the care of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice in Paul's name.
