Obituary for Ricky E. Augustine
Ricky Eugene Augustine, 64, of Meadville, passed away, Monday, May 24, 2021 at his residence.
He was born in Corry and raised in Spartanburg. As a young man, we worked in a sawmill. Ricky was in the US Army in the late 1970's. He was a member of the Blooming Valley Fire Department in the 1990's. He worked on farms, in manufacturing, and was a security officer. Ricky loved his family and enjoyed attending truck and tractors pulls, attending farm shows when his father was visiting from Florida, working on models, model railroads, and watching scientific programs.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Augustine of Meadville; three children, Richard "Gene' Augustine and his wife Savannah, Joshua "Bear" Augustine and his wife Donna, and Tamara Lynn Augustine; four granddaughters, Jada, Mya, Kora, and Suellen; a grandson, Thor; a sister, Carolyn Calhoun; two nephews, John Calhoun and Joe Calhoun; and a niece, Cara Calhoun MaGill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Lyle Augustine (2016) and Santa Carol Burdge Augustine Callender (2013); and a brother in law, Jack Calhoun (2019).
There will be no services held at this time a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
