Obituary for Sally Lou Anderton (Caughfiln)
Sally Lou Coughlin Anderton, 79, of Conneaut Lake, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. She was born on June 3, 1941, daughter of the late Milton and Ruth Gomoll Coughlin. She married her best friend George Anderton on June 20, 1964, he survives.
Sally was a talented seamstress and made gowns, coats and everything in-between for years. She also was the office manager for her husband's Tool and Die Business. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, dancing and loved her cats.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 56 years, George Anderton; two sons, Kenneth W. Anderton of Shermansville, PA and James P. Anderton of Weisboden, Germany; ten grandchildren, Steven, Morgan, Jerry and Julia Anderton; Taylor and Travis Ulrich; Micheal Anderton; Ashley Tolbert; Jesse and Patrick Anderton; and Kendra Anderton Kubus; also four great grandchildren, Lisa and Vanessa Kubus; Ivy Lynn Anderton and Charles Tolbert.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Wendy Bennett Ulrich.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or to The Shirners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, Florida 33607.
