Obituary for Shirley M. Howell (Roche)
Shirley M. Roche Howell, 95, of Meadville, passed away, Monday, August 12, 2019 at Juniper Village. She was born on October 10, 1923 in Meadville, daughter of the Late Clarence and Laura Bailey Roche. She married John F. Howell and he preceded her in death in 2005.
Shirley was a member of the Blooming Valley United Methodist Church. She enjoyed helping with church dinners and crafts of all kinds.
Survivors include her son, Daniel Howell and his wife Linda of Guys Mills; four grandchildren, James Snyder; Jeremy Snyder and his wife Erin, Kimberly Davison and Jolene Spannuth; ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; son-in-law John Snyder also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by her son Robert Howell and daughter Deborah Snyder.
Friends and family are invited to call the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335, on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.. A Funeral Service will be held there on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dr. J.W. Koe Officiating.
Burial will take place at Greendale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Blooming Valley United Methodist Church, 24740 State St, Meadville, PA 16335.
