Obituary for Stella Rosemary Darzen (Esposito)
Stella Rosemary Darzen, 78, of Union City passed away on September 3, 2022 at Forestview Nursing Home and Care Center in Erie.
Born on April 16, 1944 in New Haven, CT, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Stella (Vuolo) Esposito.
On March 16, 1994, she married Charles J. Darzen in Seymour, CT. Shortly thereafter, they moved to and made their home in Union City, PA. He preceded her in death on December 16, 2008.
Stella was a spicy lady, full of Italian wit and humor and loved to give hugs. She loved to cook and left behind a library of her recipes.
She loved painting & drawing, horses, her children and her grandchildren. She especially loved spending time with her great-grandson, Maximos.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Yvonne Myers and her husband, Jim, of Union City; Dawn Russo of Union City; Anthony Russo of Kissimmee, Florida; her grandson Kevin Seelinger, and great-grandson Maximos; as well as her fur baby, Lulu.
In addition to her parents and her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rebecca Rose Seelinger.
As per the family’s wishes, no services will be observed. Please light a candle and say a prayer in her memory.
