Obituary for Virginia Ann Nageotte
Virginia Ann Nageotte, 87, of Meadville, passed away, Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community. She was born on February 23, 1934 in Meadville, a daughter of Alvin R. Nageotte and Rosa Reuter Nagoette.
She was a 1952 graduate of Meadville Area High School and was employed by Allegheny College in the Mail Department as a typist from 1952 until her retirement in 1998. Gina's hobby was doll collecting and the variety and size of her collection was amazing. She was also a lifelong member of Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church.
Gina is survived by her nieces, Chris Wakefield and her husband Ed of Florida, Rosa Nageotte of Conneautville, and Ruth Nageotte of Conneautville; her nephews, Michael Nageotte and his wife Sharon of Saegertown, Stephen Nageotte and his wife Belle of Kentucky, Richard Nageotte of Meadville, and Philip Nageotte and his wife Dawn of Conneautville; and many beloved great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by three sisters, Lois, Esther, and Donna Nageotte; and her brother, Richard E. Nageotte.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Thursday, May 13th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville with Father Jeffrey Lucas, pastor, as celebrant.
Burial will follow in Saint Agatha Cemetery.
