Obituary for Yvonne H. "Bonnie" Kilburn (Getchell)

Yvonne "Bonnie" H. Kilburn, 69, of Meadville, passed away, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on March 6, 1950 in Meadville a daughter of Art Getchell and Janice Goodwill Reynolds. She married Lawrence D. Kilburn.

She was a 1968 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School and was employed with District Court in Vernon Township for 39 years.

Bonnie was a member of Oasis Church, Veterans of the Vietnam War, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 111, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Union Member and acting Shop Steward, and Veterans Detail of Erie and Crawford County.

She loved and lived for her grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Lawrence D. Kilburn of Meadville; her father, Art Getchell and his wife Linda of Meadville; a son, Justin J. Henry and his wife Shasta of Conneaut Lake; a daughter, Julia Needler Huckaby and her two sons and grandchildren; step-daughter, Lorelei Kilburn and her husband Michael Coleman of Texas; four grandchildren, Kristin, Kennedy, Kaylee, and Kinsley; four sisters, Barbara Lallier and her husband Bruce of Conneaut Lake, Marsha Bradish and her fiancé Antonio Herrera of Leander, Texas, Cheryl Mattern and her husband Dennis of Conneautville, and Lisa Chivers and her husband Jeffrey of North Port, Florida; a brother, Mark Getchell of Meadville; several stepbrothers and stepsisters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Reynolds.

Family and friends are welcome to call on Wednesday, January 8th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. There will be an additional hour of calling on Thursday, January 9th from 10:00am to 11:00am with the funeral service to follow at 11:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Nate Alsdorf of Oasis, officiating.

Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Vernon Township.
