Flora Ann  Spitzer (Edelman)
MILLCREEK - Flora Ann Edelman Spitzer, 89 of Millcreek, passed away, on April 18, 2017 at U.P.M.C. Hamot surrounded by her beloved family. She was born in Erie, PA on October 25, 1927, daughter of the late Bernard and Celia Fox Edelman. She married Louis Spitzer, in 1947, he preceded her in death on December 6, 2004.

Flo worked at Paul Bunyan Markets for many years as the deli manager. She was a member of the B'rith Shalom Congregation. Flo enjoyed crossword puzzles, game shows, playing pinochle, bowling and was a member of the mahjong club. She also enjoyed knitting, but her greatest joy was her family.

In addition to her husband, Flo was preceded in death by her brother Sydney Edelman and her sister-in-law Zelda Edelman.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Hirt of Erie; her son Alan Spitzer and his wife Darlene of Erie; three grandchildren, Jennifer Davis and her husband Mike of Portersville, PA; David Spitzer and his wife Jessica of Erie; and Robert Spitzer and his wife Aimee of Meadville; PA; five great grandchildren, Riley and Claire Davis; Andrew and Marshall Spitzer and Grace Spitzer; also one great grandson due in August, Bauer Spitzer; her brother Donald Edelman and his wife Roberta of Jacksonville, FL; also many nieces and nephews.

Friends and Family are invited to call the W. James Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St, Erie, PA 16502, Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. with Rabbi Emily Losben-Ostrov officiating. Burial will be in C.B.S. Cemetery.

Arrangements have been graciously entrusted to the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 810 River Ave # 140, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 or to the charity of your choice in Flora's name.
